Very good app!
I have ii Motorola Focus 66 cams I use with this software. I really like being able to get a existent time view of my pet and my door. It's nice that I can change the sensitivity on the app, view them on my IPhone while I'one thousand away, and relieve recordings.
In that location are a couple of things I'd similar fixed. The more annoying issue is that the app has no support for daylight savings. My recording times listed are 1 hour off from April to October. I made sure I have my correct time zone set for both cams. The other issue may be the camera itself, fifty-fifty though both my cams accept the latest firmware according to the app. On my older camera, the app records every three minutes, fifty-fifty with no motion. In that location are too many phantom recordings. It is only supposed to record with motion. I've already lowered the sensitivity then that sunlight in room doesn't cause recording. Also on this camera, it's only supposed to be black & white, even though sometimes information technology records in color. That is very strange. Also, this camera seems to selectively record motion. When I walk in front of the camera while it'south powered on, information technology should tape me every time, but it doesn't. It may be the unlike firmware in the older Focus 66. I never got clarification.

I should not accept to be sharing my location information to check in on my child. I bought this monitor to be able to check in from where ever I was. I noticed that every time I log in my phone starts sharing my location, so I turned it off. Then the app stopped working, saying there was a connection trouble with my photographic camera. I turned location data back on and it started working instantly. The justification the app uses for requiring location information is to serve us relevant location specific ads. It has nothing to practise with the actual functionality of the app. This is crap. While I have seen a recent decrease in the number of pop ups before I tin can even view the monitor, it was getting out of command for a while. I become that app developers need to make money with their free app versions, so that requires advertizement, but for the love of god, there is no need for the sharing of our location data. As well much personal information is e'er being nerveless just from the nature of this product.
Edit - I just got a response that the location needs to be shared to connect to WiFi. Only, that'south not the justification the app uses for asking for WiFi when you get into your settings. It says the location info is necessary to "forward you to a localized version of our product website." So, that contradicts the response I received from the squad. Likewise their own privacy policy on their website.

The sound quality is amazing so if she wakes upward and we are in some other room we can hear her calling for someone. We just keep in plugged in and running at all times to amplify her voice every bit her speech communication is very limited and soft. Mom requires 24/7 care and then at night who ever stays upward with her tin sit in the television set room to not disturb her and still see and hear her. Mom has a alive-in boyfriend who cannot treat her every bit well as us and then on his nights we tin can render home and b/c of the movement detection we can watch him with the telephone application. This device has excellent video and audio quality and the movement and sound detection is so useful. We can even go on the camera's audio running in the background of our phone while the telephone is in utilize or if we are sleeping with the phone screen locked. Nosotros volition also be able to review saved recordings and sleep summaries. This is device has helped us and so much.
